Lime and Coconut Crumbed Fish

Lime & Coconut Crumb FishIngredients

  • 4 fish fillets
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • 2 Tbsp fresh grated lime peel


  1. Preheat oven to 200 Degrees C.
  2. Blend the breadcrumbs, coconut and lime peel together in a wide bowl.
  3. Dip each fillet in the beaten eggs to coat all over then transfer to the breadcrumb bowl and cover with the breadcrumb mixture, patting gently to help the crumbs stick firmly.
  4. Lightly oil a baking tray and place the crumbed fillets on it.
  5. Bake the fillets for approximately 15 minutes, depending on their thickness, turning once during baking.
  6. Serve, drizzled with the juice of the limes if desired.
